2028 Olympics Soccer Explodes Across America: L.A. Hosts, But the Action Spreads Nationwide

While the Los Angeles Summer Olympics remains two years in the future, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has already started extensive planning. On Monday, the IOC unveiled the complete soccer tournament schedules for both men's and women's competitions, signaling it's time for fans to start their own preparations.

Indeed, while Los Angeles serves as the Olympic host city, soccer action will reach fans nationwide. Matches will take place throughout the United States at six Major League Soccer stadiums, ensuring supporters from coast to coast can rally behind their national teams. Team USA receives automatic qualification for the tournament.

The initial LA28 ticket lottery registration remains open through Wednesday, with general ticket sales launching in April for all Olympic events.

Soccer action begins on July 10, four days prior to the opening ceremony, providing athletes with additional recovery time during the summer competition. The tournament wraps up with the men's championship match on July 28th and the women's final on July 29, both taking place at the iconic Rose Bowl.
