AC Milan Makes Final Decision on Christian Pulisic's Future as Premier League Clubs Circle

Although Premier League clubs continue to show significant interest in U.S. men's national team standout Christian Pulisic, AC Milan have allegedly rejected any possible move for the "indispensable" player.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching in just six months, Pulisic is experiencing his finest career form. The 27-year-old sits second in Serie A's top scorer rankings and has recorded 11 goal contributions across only 14 matches for the Rossoneri this campaign.

Pulisic, whose existing deal runs until June 2027, has been in contract extension discussions with Milan throughout much of 2025. However, the two sides haven't reached agreement on fresh terms, creating opportunities for rival clubs to pursue the American's services.

However, Fabrizio Romano informed the Men in Blazers podcast that there are "zero" solid contacts or talks between any Premier League team and Pulisic. Milan consider the attacker as "the player right now," someone who is "indispensable."

The USMNT skipper was recently connected with a remarkable switch to Manchester United three years following his departure from Chelsea. Pulisic featured in 145 matches for the Blues, becoming the first American to participate in and subsequently claim a Champions League title during his stint at the club.

Pulisic allegedly attracted attention from Saudi Pro League team Al Nassr as well, but he declined the potential move and opportunity to join Cristiano Ronaldo, choosing instead to remain at Milan.

Milan Seeking 'Resolution' to Stalled Contract Talks

It's obvious that Milan's most effective strategy to prevent clubs from targeting Pulisic is securing him with a fresh contract. The former Chelsea player has previously stated his intention to remain with the Rossoneri, particularly as the club competes for the Italian championship this season.

"I anticipate Milan will return to negotiations very soon and attempt to present him with an improved offer to find a resolution," Romano stated.

A fresh agreement for Pulisic would certainly include a substantial salary increase considering his exceptional performance since joining Milan in 2023. The USMNT leader has scored 42 goals in 115 appearances for the Italian club, helping the team capture last season's Italian Super Cup for the first time since 2016.

Securing his future with the Rossoneri would eliminate one potential distraction for Pulisic before the 2026 World Cup, where he aims to guide the Stars and Stripes to success on American territory.
