Andre Onana Shocks Man Utd with Last-Minute Exit Agreement Before Transfer Deadline

Manchester United's keeper André Onana has reportedly reached an agreement to move to Turkish club Trabzonspor on a temporary deal through the end of the current season.
Following Senne Lammens' arrival, which has pushed Onana lower in the goalkeeper hierarchy at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have accepted a loan proposal from Trabzonspor that excludes any permanent transfer clause for the upcoming summer.
The only remaining requirement was Onana's consent, and it has now been confirmed that the Cameroon shot-stopper, despite his hesitation to leave United, was willing to consider the Turkish club's offer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Onana has now given his approval to the proposal and the goalkeeper is currently making arrangements to head to Turkey to finalize the season-long loan agreement.

While the Turkish transfer market remains open until September 12, Trabzonspor aims to finalize the arrangement quickly, with hopes of integrating Onana into their first team just two days following the transfer deadline.
Despite Onana's previous commitment to securing his position at Old Trafford, he was facing the reality of becoming third choice under Ruben Amorim's management. Lammens is anticipated to take over as the primary goalkeeper, while regular backup Altay Bayındır had already featured in the opening three matches of the season before Onana.
The temporary stint with Trabzonspor will provide Onana the opportunity to maintain his competitive fitness and showcase his abilities for a potential permanent exit from United next summer.
If Trabzonspor decides to pursue a permanent acquisition of Onana, they would need to negotiate a new deal with United regarding the 29-year-old, whose Old Trafford contract extends for another three years and contains an additional 12-month extension option.
