Real Madrid are looking to silence the external distractions as they head to Sevilla for their second-to-last La Liga fixture.
Kylian Mbappé's public comments following Thursday's win over Real Oviedo represent the latest flashpoint in a turbulent spell of off-pitch drama, but focus shifts back to the field for Sunday's tricky away trip to Andalusia.
Álvaro Arbeloa is chasing back-to-back wins for the first time since the March international break, even though the result against Sevilla has no impact on Madrid's final league position—with second place already secured regardless of the outcome.
To make matters worse for Arbeloa, a mounting injury list continues to complicate his team selection.
All Eyes on Mbappé Decision

Despite his claims that Arbeloa informed him he is now the fourth-choice striker, Mbappé is expected to reclaim his spot in the Madrid starting XI. The French forward could come in for Gonzalo García, who ended a prolonged goal drought earlier in the week.
The squad will be without the injured Rodrygo, Arda Güler, Ferland Mendy and Éder Militão, while Andriy Lunin is also expected to be absent due to illness.
Dean Huijsen has shaken off a virus and resumed training, and is set to walk straight back into the heart of the defense. Federico Valverde has begun partial training following the head injury he suffered during his altercation with Aurélien Tchouaméni and may feature in the squad.
Dani Ceballos looks set to play no further part this season following his falling out with Arbeloa.
Real Madrid Predicted Lineup vs. Sevilla

GK: Thibaut Courtois—A rejuvenated Sevilla side have sharpened their attacking play in recent outings to pull themselves away from relegation danger. They will certainly put Courtois under pressure on Sunday.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold—A difficult debut campaign plagued by injuries has amplified concerns over his defensive shortcomings, yet Madrid fans have still been treated to glimpses of the Englishman's exceptional range of passing this season.
CB: Dean Huijsen—The Spain international sat out the defeat to Barcelona and the win over Oviedo, but is expected to step straight back into the starting lineup this weekend after overcoming his illness.
CB: Antonio Rüdiger—The 33-year-old has found himself at the center of controversy in recent months, but looks set to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabéu for at least one more year.
LB: Fran García—The strained dynamic between Álvaro Carreras and Arbeloa points to another start for Fran García, though Carreras did make his way back into the XI during the midweek clash with Oviedo.
CM: Aurélien Tchouaméni—Midfield reinforcements will be a priority in the summer window, with Tchouaméni standing out as one of the few reliable figures in Madrid's central engine room.
CM: Eduardo Camavinga—Having been left out of Didier Deschamps' France World Cup squad, Camavinga has plenty of motivation to impress in his final two La Liga appearances of the season.
RW: Brahim Díaz—The Morocco international put in a sparkling display against relegated Oviedo, setting up Gonzalo García and causing constant problems down the flank. He could be deployed on the right wing come Sunday.
AM: Jude Bellingham—Having netted his first goal of any kind since January, Bellingham will be eager to build on that morale-boosting strike against Oviedo and carry some form into the World Cup.
LW: Vinicius Junior—With five goals in his last five appearances, Vini Jr could prove to be the decisive factor against Sevilla—a side he has only managed to score against once in 10 previous encounters.
ST: Kylian Mbappé—Should Mbappé return to the starting lineup, he will at least be spared the hostile reception he faces at the Bernabéu. It is difficult to comprehend how a 41-goal campaign has still failed to win over an increasingly frustrated support.
