Arsenal midfielder Eberechi Eze is set to spend a minimum of one month on the injury list as he recovers from a calf problem.
Eze sustained the injury during Arsenal's Champions League win over Bayer Leverkusen and subsequently missed the Carabao Cup final loss to Manchester City, after which boss Mikel Arteta confirmed that additional scans on Eze's calf would be required.
As reported by The Athletic, indications point to Eze facing a recovery period of somewhere between four and six weeks.
While Eze's calf problem is not considered especially severe, the timing couldn't be worse. He was forced to pull out of the England squad, missing a crucial opportunity to stake his claim for a place in this summer's World Cup roster, and it also represents a significant setback for Arsenal.
A four-week absence would see Eze back on the pitch by late April, while a six-week layoff would keep him out until mid-May. The Premier League campaign concludes on May 24.
The Games Eberechi Eze Could Miss for Arsenal

April looks set to be a pivotal month for Arsenal, who return from the international break needing to bounce back following the collapse of their quadruple bid.
The Carabao Cup final defeat risks dealing a major psychological blow at this critical stage of the season, particularly given that it came against their main rivals in the race for the Premier League title.
Arsenal's response begins with an away FA Cup quarterfinal clash at Southampton, followed by a home fixture against Bournemouth sandwiched between the two legs of their Champions League quarterfinal tie with Sporting CP.
Notably, Eze also appears likely to miss Arsenal's chance for revenge against Man City, who welcome the Gunners to the Etihad on April 19 in what looks to be a title-defining encounter in the Premier League.
The month wraps up with a home fixture against Newcastle United, for which Eze is unlikely to feature even if he has resumed training by then.
Arsenal then kick off May with a home game against Fulham before heading to West Ham United on May 9. Eze will be targeting a return to action around this point, with just two domestic fixtures remaining after that.
The FA Cup final falls on May 16, right at the outer edge of Eze's projected recovery window, while the Champions League final 14 days later should present no fitness concerns for the Englishman — provided Arsenal make it to the showpiece occasion.
