Arsenal Prepares to Launch First Bid for Rising Star Noni Madueke

Arsenal are reportedly preparing to make their initial bid for Chelsea's winger Noni Madueke.
This development follows Saturday's reports indicating that Madueke has come to terms with the Gunners, expressing his willingness to make the switch across London. However, discussions between Arsenal and Chelsea regarding the transfer fee have not yet commenced.
Arsenal are preparing to forward their opening proposal for Chelsea's consideration, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer expert also provided additional information about the contract terms Madueke is understood to have accepted with the Gunners—a five-year deal extending through summer 2030.
Madueke is reportedly valued at £50 million ($68.3 million), though this price point remains "subject to negotiation" as reported by Ed Aarons from The Guardian.
For context, Chelsea paid approximately £28.5 million ($38.9 million) to PSV Eindhoven when acquiring Madueke in January 2023, positioning them to secure a substantial profit. Notably, his debut goal for Chelsea came against Arsenal several months after his arrival.

Following Chelsea's FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinal victory over Palmeiras, where the 23-year-old entered as a substitute, Enzo Maresca addressed questions about Madueke's future at the club.
"Noni has played a crucial role for us throughout this season. However, my stance with both players and the club remains clear: I only want individuals who are content being here," Maresca stated.
"Those who aren't satisfied are welcome to leave. This applies to everyone, not specifically Noni. That said, Noni has performed excellently this season and was impressive [against Palmeiras]."
Madueke has featured on both wings for Chelsea. Despite Jadon Sancho's departure, the additions of Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap, João Pedro, Estêvão Willian and Kendry Páez have significantly intensified competition for attacking positions.
Should he join Arsenal, Madueke would likely vie with Gabriel Martinelli for the left-wing position while serving as primary backup to Bukayo Saka on the right flank.
