Arsenal Star Declares With Absolute Certainty: 'We WILL Win The Treble!'

Gabriel Jesus is "very confident" that Arsenal will claim their first Premier League crown in more than twenty years this campaign, adding that he "believes 100%" it will be a memorable season for the north London club.

Arsenal's hopes of a historic English quadruple were ended before the international break following their loss to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, yet the Gunners remain well-positioned on three remaining fronts.

Currently sitting atop the Premier League table with a nine-point advantage—though rivals Man City hold a game in hand—Mikel Arteta's side have also advanced comfortably into the Champions League quarterfinals and are expected to secure an FA Cup semifinal spot by defeating Southampton on Saturday.

The Wembley loss to Man City could easily shake Arsenal's belief, particularly given the club hasn't lifted a major trophy since the FA Cup in 2020, but Jesus remains upbeat that his team will ultimately deliver.

When asked by Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand about his thoughts on Arsenal's title prospects, Jesus said: "Very confident, very confident.

"We are in a great position and we have a fantastic squad. Not just the players who feature most often but the entire group. I believe 100% that this season we are going to do something special."

Jesus Lavishes Praise on Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka

Declan Rice

Arsenal's remarkable rise to the top of English football has been fueled in large part by Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice. The latter has been in particularly outstanding form this season, proving instrumental in the Gunners' impressive runs across all competitions.

Jesus has been full of admiration for Rice's recent displays, even revealing the affectionate nickname given to the dynamic midfielder by his Arsenal teammates.

"He's the kind of player who can do everything. He can defend, he can create, he can shoot ... he's an incredible player," the Brazilian enthused.

"He's different from Rodri because Declan is playing as a No. 8 now. I can compare him a little bit with Fernandinho. Fernandinho defended better than him I think but Declan gets forward, we call him 'The Horse' because when he gets going you can't stop him.

"He's amazing, truly amazing. Look at his character too, he was born to be a leader. I really admire him both as a person and as a player."

Bukayo Saka

Jesus also highlighted Saka for special recognition, insisting the winger belongs in the same conversation as Brazilian stars Raphinha and Vinicius Junior despite going through a relatively modest season by his own high standards.

When questioned about comparisons with the Barcelona and Real Madrid wingers, Jesus replied: "He's at the same table [as Raphinha and Vini Jr], the same table. They are all on the same level.

"Obviously we're talking about different styles but they all possess that quality and can produce moments of magic. You still need to win trophies but he's there, he's there."
