Manchester City may be trailing Arsenal in the Premier League title race, but they are refusing to give up without a fight.
The Citizens finally used their game in hand against Crystal Palace on Wednesday, claiming a convincing 3–0 win at the Etihad Stadium and narrowing the gap to table-toppers Arsenal to just two points.
However, City's costly slip-up against Everton last week continues to haunt them. Pep Guardiola's side must win all of their remaining matches to stand any chance of lifting the Premier League title. On top of that, they will need the Gunners to drop points at least once in their final games.
Unfortunately for the title challengers, their remaining fixtures look considerably harder—at least on paper—compared to the games Mikel Arteta's side have left to complete their season. That said, anything is possible in the closing weeks of what has been an utterly gripping battle for the English top-flight crown.

The end is now within reach for Arsenal. The Gunners have strung together three straight league wins to revive their title push, and two further victories will be enough to seal the Premier League crown.
Their first task is a home fixture against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium, a game that should be among the more straightforward on the calendar. The Clarets are already relegated and have gone 11 games without a win. Despite snatching a draw against Aston Villa in their last outing, the 19th-placed side present little danger to the Gunners, who will be eager to score freely and improve their goal difference.
Arteta's men then travel to Selhurst Park to wrap up their 2025–26 Premier League season. Crystal Palace have proven to be a tricky opponent for Arsenal in recent times—two of their last three encounters have ended level—but Oliver Glasner may opt to rest several key players with the Conference League final just three days away.
The visitors will also have the Champions League final in the back of their minds, yet they cannot afford to make wholesale changes against the Eagles if the Premier League title remains undecided.
Before that, City face Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley this weekend. Victory there would deliver a second piece of silverware to the Etihad this season, with the Citizens still pushing for a potential third—though the window is closing fast.
Just three days after that, Guardiola's men head to the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth, who memorably defeated Arsenal just last month, are battling for a European spot and will show the visitors absolutely no quarter.
The fixture also marks Andoni Iraola's final home match in charge, and nothing would give the manager greater satisfaction than stretching his side's unbeaten run to 18 games across all competitions at the expense of the title contenders.
City's final fixture is a meeting with Aston Villa. Unai Emery's side are desperately clinging to fifth place, though a Europa League final triumph would secure their Champions League berth regardless. Should they beat Freiburg just four days before their trip to Manchester, they may be tempted to ease off, potentially handing City a golden opportunity to take advantage.
