Arsenal's Deadly Forwards Roar Back as Gunners Gear Up to Dismantle Fulham

Arsenal shift their focus back to the Premier League title race on Saturday, with a chance to open up a six-point gap over Manchester City at the top of the table.

Fulham stand in their way between Champions League semifinal legs against Atlético Madrid, and a win over the Cottagers would widen Arsenal's lead ahead of Man City's Monday night fixture at Everton. Any dropped points, however, could prove costly.

Mikel Arteta faces significant selection dilemmas as he looks to balance the demands of the Premier League title push and the quest for European success.

Uncertainty Over Kai Havertz Persists

Kai Havertz

Arsenal have seen Bukayo Saka and Riccardo Calafiori return to action recently, while Eberechi Eze overcame injury concerns to play in the midweek trip to Atlético Madrid. Nevertheless, questions remain over whether Kai Havertz will be available this weekend.

The German picked up a knock during last weekend's victory over Newcastle United and was left out of the squad for the Madrid fixture. Although his "muscular issue" is not thought to be serious, his participation against Fulham remains uncertain.

Should he be ruled out, Havertz would join Jurriën Timber and Mikel Merino on the injury list. Timber's absence has been especially felt in recent weeks, coinciding with a dip in form from Ben White.

Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs. Fulham (4-2-3-1)

Arsenal predicted lineup

GK: David Raya—The Spanish goalkeeper came up with several crucial saves to prevent Atléti from taking a first leg lead on Wednesday. Raya's consistency once again highlighted his importance to Arsenal's formidable backline.

RB: Cristhian Mosquera—Despite the misfortune of conceding a penalty for handball midweek, White had a tough night dealing with Ademola Lookman. A string of below-par displays since Timber's injury may prompt Arteta to hand Mosquera the right back spot.

CB: William Saliba—Saliba delivered a commanding performance in Madrid, bouncing back from a shaky outing against William Osula the previous weekend. Raúl Jiménez and Rodrigo Muniz look unlikely to get the better of the Frenchman.

CB: Gabriel—Goals have become scarce for Gabriel despite Arsenal's continued threat from set pieces. The 28-year-old has not scored since early January.

LB: Piero Hincapié—Hincapié has had an impressive debut campaign in English football and has firmly established himself as a first-choice starter. He turned in another eye-catching display in Madrid.

CM: Martin Ødegaard—With Arsenal continuing to find goals difficult from open play, Ødegaard needs to stamp his authority on games. The Norwegian's vision and creativity could be decisive in the final weeks of the campaign.

CM: Martín Zubimendi—Zubimendi has faced criticism at various points this season, but has shown renewed confidence in recent outings. His fatigue is understandable given he has featured in more matches than any other Arsenal player this season.

CM: Declan Rice—Rice excelled in a deeper role against Atléti but should revert to his favored box-to-box position against Fulham. Arteta will have no concerns about his midfield leader's composure.

RW: Bukayo Saka—Saka has been restricted to two brief substitute appearances over the past week, his first outings since the Carabao Cup final. A return to the starting eleven is overdue, particularly with Arsenal in need of creativity out wide.

ST: Viktor Gyökeres—Havertz's potential absence likely means another start for Gyökeres, who gave Atléti plenty of problems. The Swede has chipped in with some vital goals for Arsenal despite fair criticism of his overall contributions.

LW: Eberechi Eze—A stunning strike sealed the win against Newcastle, and Eze immediately made an impact from the bench midweek. He has emerged as Arsenal's most dangerous attacking outlet of late.
