Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs. Ipswich
GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga—The Spanish goalkeeper bore much of the blame for Arsenal's loss in the 2026 Carabao Cup final, and a difficult preseason led many to assume Kepa would drop to third-choice. That appears not to be the case, however.
RB: Jurriën Timber—The right back position remains unsettled, with Timber making his first outing of the season at the Stadium of Light. Ben White was substituted at the break with a suspected injury.
CB: Ezri Konsa—Arsenal are without two center backs, leaving Arteta with limited options to rotate in that area.
CB: Gabriel—Gabriel will likely need to continue partnering Konsa in midweek, with the duo rapidly building a solid understanding.
LB: Piero Hincapié—While Riccardo Calafiori has established himself as the undisputed first-choice left back, Hincapié proves to be a more than capable stand-in.
CM: Martín Zubimendi—Zubimendi has been cast in a similar role to that of Jorginho when the Italian provided controlled contributions off the bench in north London. The Spaniard, who was so vital during his opening months at the club, is set to make his first start of the season here.
