Arsenal's quest to maintain an unbeaten record this season faces a stern challenge at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta's side have strung together six straight victories, with their rock-solid defensive performances underpinning four successive league wins at the start of their title defense. Coventry City, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Sunderland have all been dispatched without significant difficulty.
The trip to the Amex Stadium promises to be a tough one, however, with Brighton showing strong form so far. The Seagulls mounted a comeback to defeat Manchester United 3–2 at Old Trafford in midweek, adding to the momentum built from their 5–0 thrashing of Coventry the previous weekend.
Here's how Arsenal could set up for this challenging fixture.
Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs. Brighton
GK: David Raya—The Spanish goalkeeper has been Arsenal's standout performer across their last two Premier League outings. A brilliant stop to deny Estêvão secured all three points against Chelsea, while his penalty save proved decisive in the win over Sunderland.
RB: Jurriën Timber—With Ben White a fitness concern heading into the weekend, Timber could make his first start for club or country since March. Should the Dutchman be unavailable, Martín Zubimendi may once again fill the role after an encouraging midweek display.
CB: Ezri Konsa—With William Saliba still on the sidelines and Cristhian Mosquera dealing with fitness concerns, Konsa is set to return to the starting lineup after featuring in the second half of the midweek Carabao Cup win over Ipswich Town.
CB: Gabriel—The Brazilian will be alert to Brighton's attacking danger, with striker Charalampos Kostoulas in particularly fine form after netting in back-to-back matches.
LB: Riccardo Calafiori—The Italian strikes an effective balance between defensive solidity and attacking contribution. Arteta grants him license to roam the left flank, enabling him to push into advanced positions.
CM: Bruno Guimarães—Guimarães struck a stunning effort against Sunderland that could earn him a place in the starting XI ahead of Myles Lewis-Skelly, whom he replaced at the interval on Wearside.

CM: Declan Rice—The dynamic midfielder was given a well-earned rest in midweek as Arsenal comfortably saw off Ipswich, and the squad's depth in central midfield should allow Arteta to manage his minutes more carefully this campaign.
RW: Bukayo Saka—Saka has a fine record against the Seagulls, contributing a goal or assist in five of his six visits to the Amex Stadium, including goals in each of his last three appearances on the south coast.
AM: Martin Ødegaard—Arsenal's skipper has been in excellent touch this season, with his sharpened form producing four goals, including the Community Shield. Ødegaard will be key to breaking down a buoyant Brighton side.
LW: Christos Tzolis—The summer signing is still searching for his first Arsenal goal, but that has done little to overshadow some impressive creative performances. Tzolis has already racked up four assists in seven appearances.
ST: Kai Havertz—One can only feel sympathy for Viktor Gyökeres this season. Not only has the Swede struggled to make an impact when given limited chances, Havertz has thrived in his absence with a series of dominant and clinical showings.
