What if Man City Beat Crystal Palace?
The race will stretch on a bit longer if City manage to overcome Palace, which would leave them two points adrift of Arsenal with two games remaining for each side.
Should Arsenal hold up their end against Burnley on Monday, the spotlight shifts back to City, who head to Bournemouth the following day knowing that anything other than a win would mathematically crown Arsenal as Premier League champions.
Bournemouth are embroiled in a tight contest for sixth place, which could potentially earn them a Champions League berth with some assistance from Aston Villa. While City will enter each remaining game as favorites, the Cherries could prove to be a genuine obstacle for Guardiola.
Could the Title Race Go Down to the Last Day?
The only way the title is settled on the final day is if City keep collecting wins. Beating Palace is essential and, with Arsenal expected to dispatch Burnley, three points against Bournemouth will also be necessary.
If Arsenal drop points against Burnley through a draw or defeat, that too would push the decision to the final day, provided City win their surrounding fixtures.
