Ballon d'Or 2025 Secrets Exposed: Shocking Vote Tallies for Dembele, Yamal, and Salah Finally Unveiled

The 2025 Ballon d'Or voting results show how narrowly Lamine Yamal and Mariona Caldentey missed out on defeating Ousmane Dembélé and Aitana Bonmatí for football's most coveted individual prize.

Before an audience filled with elite players and coaches from across the sport, Dembélé and Bonmatí stepped onto the stage at the Théâtre du Châtelet to accept their respective Ballon d'Or trophies.

Dembélé secured the award following his outstanding 2024–25 campaign that saw Paris Saint-Germain achieve an unprecedented quadruple. Bonmatí, on the other hand, guided Barcelona to their second straight domestic treble, capturing her third women's Ballon d'Or title.

Both athletes claimed the individual accolade through votes cast by journalists from FIFA-ranked nations. The men's Ballon d'Or receives votes from one hundred representatives, while fifty vote for the women's award.

The male and female players accumulating the highest point totals are declared the newest Ballon d'Or champions.
