Barcelona has recognized that they cannot utilize Camp Nou at its maximum capacity, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that original projections of 60,000 attendees have been reduced to approximately 25,000 to 35,000 spectators.

All necessary paperwork has been officially presented to both municipal authorities and the local fire service as Barcelona awaits final authorization for their Camp Nou return plans next month. This determination is anticipated to arrive next week.

Reducing the venue capacity is anticipated to facilitate a favorable outcome in discussions with municipal officials.

Barcelona has yet to reveal the opposition for their traditional pre-season fixture, though Italian club Como is reportedly already committed to traveling to Catalonia.

The primary team's changing facilities are expected to remain unavailable, but alternative spaces within the stadium can serve as interim solutions.

Following this competition, Barcelona must also secure official clearance from La Liga before hosting any competitive matches at the renovated venue. League representatives are scheduled to inspect the facility shortly before delivering their judgment on the proposal to stage their opening home fixture against Valencia on September 14.
