Barcelona Unveils Exclusive Deal for Asia Tour's Thrilling Final Two Preseason Showdowns

After experiencing broadcasting difficulties during Barcelona's opening pre-season match against Vissel Kobe, the club has announced that their remaining two Asian tour fixtures will be streamed at no cost.

Barcelona's match against Vissel Kobe was initially shown via Culers Premium and the club's official YouTube channel, requiring viewers to purchase a subscription. This led to Barcelona facing a significant cyber assault from online platforms attempting to hijack the broadcast signal.

The attack caused the stream to fail, preventing supporters from viewing the Vissel Kobe encounter until Barcelona chose to offer free YouTube coverage during the second half. To prevent similar incidents, the Catalan club has now committed to providing complimentary streaming for their next two pre-season matches.

"Barcelona announces to its members and supporters that following last Sunday's technical difficulties, the final two matches of the Blaugrana Tour Asia Edition 2025 by Philips Ambilight (against FC Seoul on July 31 and against Daegu FC on August 4) will be available without charge through the official FC Barcelona YouTube channel," the club stated officially.

"The organization wishes to express regret to its members and global fanbase as the service failed to meet the Institution's expected quality standards and aims to prevent such issues from recurring. Additionally, FC Barcelona will shortly initiate compensation for supporters who were unable to view the match."

Barcelona's pre-season preparations have faced challenges. The Vissel Kobe fixture was briefly postponed just days before kickoff, forcing the team to delay their Japan departure by one day from the original schedule.

Despite the off-field issues, Hansi Flick's squad displayed impressive form in their opening appearance. As they head to South Korea, the team aims to continue that momentum in their encounters with FC Seoul and Daegu FC.

The Spanish giants will conclude their Asian expedition and return home next week for the Joan Gamper Trophy against Como 1907, their final preparation match before launching their La Liga championship defense against Mallorca on August 16.
