Barcelona Announce Jersey Numbers for 2025–26

18-year-old Lamine Yamal has rapidly become Barcelona's poster boy, and his spectacular ascent to global recognition made his appointment as the club's new No. 10 in July entirely predictable.

The iconic jersey has been worn by legendary figures, from Diego Maradona to Lionel Messi, and Yamal's early career achievements indicate he may eventually be regarded among such elite company.

The youngster's previous No. 19 jersey from last campaign is now available.

Loan signing Marcus Rashford has claimed No. 14, while new primary goalkeeper Joan García will sport Iñaki Peña's former No. 13 jersey. Roony Bardghji, a quiet acquisition from Copenhagen, will wear No. 28 during his debut season in Catalonia.

Youth academy products Marc Bernal and Gerard Martín have both received senior squad numbers, with Bernal assigned No. 22 and Martín taking No. 18, previously held by Pau Víctor.

The other significant number change involves Pau Cubarsí, who has assumed Iñigo Martínez's No. 5 following the experienced defender's surprising move to Al Nassr after an excellent campaign in Flick's high-risk defensive system. Cubarsí previously wore No. 2.
