Barcelona Unveils Stunning 2025-26 Away Kit Honoring Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant

Barcelona has revealed their brand-new away uniform for the 2025–26 campaign, honoring NBA icon and devoted fan Kobe Bryant.

Bryant, who claimed five NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers, was an ardent supporter of the Spanish club and was frequently seen connecting with Barcelona players, becoming deeply embedded in the club's identity prior to his untimely death in 2020.

To perpetuate Bryant's "Mamba Mentality" philosophy, Barcelona and Nike have collaborated to design a fresh away strip featuring multiple references to the 2008 MVP winner.

The golden foundation incorporates purple details—both honoring Bryant's Lakers colors from his playing career—while the shirt has made the striking decision to substitute Nike's classic swoosh with the "Kobe Sheath" linked to his personal brand.

"The blade represents raw talent, while the sheath serves as its protective cover, the dedication we invest, our accumulated wisdom," Bryant had previously stated.

Throughout the shirt runs a serpent-scale pattern that extends into the Barcelona badge, serving as another homage to Bryant's renowned Black Mamba moniker.

This launch marks the beginning of a three-season partnership between Barcelona and the Bryant brand, encompassing a new warm-up shirt, basketball uniform and exclusive Barça x Kobe footwear, plus various other merchandise.

Supporters will have their initial opportunity to see the new away strip on Thursday, July 31, when Hansi Flick's squad faces FC Seoul in South Korea during their upcoming preseason match.
