Harry Kane has rejoined Bayern Munich's training sessions on the eve of their Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Real Madrid.
The 31-year-old forward, who has racked up 48 goals in just 40 appearances across all competitions this season, suffered an ankle knock during the international break with England and missed Bayern's thrilling 3–2 victory over Freiburg on Saturday.
Concerns had been mounting over Kane's availability for Tuesday's clash with Madrid, but the Bundesliga heavyweights have since confirmed his return to training, with local reports indicating he should be fit to feature at the Bernabéu.
"I think he'd play even in a wheelchair," Bayern midfielder Joshua Kimmich said.
"I expect he'll be able to play. He'll crawl onto the pitch if he has to. I hope he's ready for Tuesday. If I recall correctly, we've never won [at the Bernabéu], at least not during my time here."
Kane Not the Only Superstar for Real Madrid to Worry About

Kane's statistics speak volumes. The England international is among the frontrunners for this year's Ballon d'Or—a bid that would be greatly boosted by Champions League glory—yet he is merely the standout name in an exceptionally potent Bayern attack.
Michael Olise enters Tuesday's match boasting 16 goals and 28 assists, while summer arrival Luis Díaz contributes 22 goals and 18 assists. Even Serge Gnabry, deployed as a versatile option across the front line, has reached double figures in both categories.
"Generally, Bayern is seen more as a team than for its individual stars," Gnabry told AS ahead of the match. "If we judge Kane purely on his numbers, then Olise and Luis Díaz deserve to be called superstars too. But again, at Bayern, what matters is the collective.
"If we perform at our best, our attack is as dangerous as Real Madrid's. Perhaps one of the finest in the world right now. So we're not heading there with fear. We're going there with great confidence and we hope to show it."
Bayern Wary of Threat Posed by Real Madrid

Despite his confidence in Bayern's prospects, Gnabry was quick to acknowledge the quality that Madrid possess throughout their squad.
"They have incredible, highly talented players," he remarked. "Particularly in attack, but also in defense, of course.
"Their forward line with Vinicius [Junior] and [Kylian] Mbappé is truly exceptional. Brahim Díaz has also been in fine form recently. We clearly need to be careful not to give them too much freedom. We have to show them what we're made of. And, as a unit, we have to handle everything they bring collectively.
"But I also believe a crucial part will simply be playing our own game. We have our strengths. So we just have to keep putting them on display."
