Bayern Munich know that a two-goal win against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening will secure their place in this season's Champions League final.
Die Roten fell 5–4 to the reigning European champions in the first leg of their semifinal, coming out on the losing end of a truly breathtaking encounter. The Allianz Arena will serve as the venue for Bayern's attempt to overturn the narrow deficit.
Many expect a repeat of the chaos seen at the Parc des Princes, and Vincent Kompany faces a tough decision in meeting those expectations. Does he prioritize shoring up the defense, or does he once again unleash Bayern's remarkable attacking firepower?
Bayern Suffer No New Injuries

Bayern left Paris without any injury concerns, and squad rotation during the weekend's 3–3 draw with Heidenheim means Vincent Kompany's squad is largely unchanged from the first leg—except for youngster Lennart Karl, who could return from a muscle injury.
Raphaël Guerreiro and Serge Gnabry remain the only confirmed first-team absentees, with the latter a significant loss after racking up 23 goal contributions this season. The Germany international will also be absent from the World Cup.
Kompany looks set to stick with the same lineup that featured in the first match, with Bayern expected to go all-out once again.
Bayern Munich Predicted Lineup vs. PSG (4-2-3-1)

GK: Manuel Neuer—Five shots on target, five goals conceded to PSG in the first leg. Neuer was left exposed by his side's aggressive approach, and may face a similar challenge on Wednesday.
RB: Josip Stanišić—Few defenders can handle the brilliance of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Stanišić was frequently left bewildered by the Georgian winger in the first leg. He will be dreading another such encounter at the Allianz Arena.
CB: Dayot Upamecano—A faint deflection off Upamecano's head helped spark Bayern's comeback in Paris. Defensively, he needs to do a better job of keeping PSG's attackers at bay.
CB: Jonathan Tah—An outstanding debut season with Bayern could culminate in a treble, but that ambition can only remain alive if the team tightens up defensively on Wednesday.
LB: Alphonso Davies—Bayern are rightly managing Davies's workload given his injury history, but Kompany needs the pacey left back to keep the creative Désiré Doué in check.
CM: Joshua Kimmich—The composed playmaker will be key to supplying Bayern's attack. However, it is a concern that he made no defensive contributions whatsoever in the first leg.
CM: Aleksandar Pavlović—The talented youngster already looks completely at ease in high-stakes fixtures. Composed throughout in Paris, he recorded more touches than any other player, while also contributing an assist and nine defensive actions.
RW: Michael Olise—Olise was at his dazzling best in the first leg, with his stunning first-half goal leaving the home supporters stunned. Bayern know they have a match-winner performing at the top of his game in the French international.
AM: Jamal Musiala—The least prominent of Bayern's attacking quartet in France last week, Musiala still posed a consistent danger from his favored positions. He has contributed seven goal involvements across his last 10 appearances, even if he remains slightly below the exceptional standards he set in previous campaigns.
LW: Luis Díaz—Díaz's goal in Paris was the standout of the night, combining a perfectly-timed run and delicate touch with a precise finish. The Colombian has elevated his game since arriving in Germany and has frequently been the decisive figure for Bayern.
ST: Harry Kane—54 goals across all competitions this season for Kane. That staggering total looks set to grow against PSG, particularly given that he has found the net in each of his last six Champions League outings.
