BREAKING: Nicolas Jackson Strikes Record-Breaking Deal to Leave Chelsea in Stunning Exit

Nicolas Jackson is allegedly close to finalizing his desired transfer to Bayern Munich following Chelsea's successful renegotiation of his departure terms, which could ultimately generate €81.5 million (£70.6 million, $95.3 million) for the club.

Jackson's original deal with Bayern was abruptly canceled on Saturday when Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury. Enzo Maresca projected the striker would be out for "six to eight weeks," though subsequent reports indicate this timeframe may be overly optimistic.

With João Pedro serving as the club's sole available senior striker after Christopher Nkunku's transfer to AC Milan, Chelsea were reluctant to leave themselves vulnerable by allowing Jackson's temporary departure. Nevertheless, reports of confidential discussions between both clubs surfaced on deadline day, and it appears they have now reached a mutually acceptable arrangement.

Bayern are anticipated to pay Chelsea a substantial €16.5 million solely for the right to loan Jackson during the 2025–26 campaign, according to Fabrizio Romano. This marks an increase from the previously agreed €15 million loan fee, which was already considered a "record" amount.

The agreement is also believed to contain a "new obligation element" for a permanent purchase from summer 2026. BILD indicates that Bayern will only be contractually required to make the transfer permanent if specific conditions are fulfilled. Should those criteria be satisfied, Chelsea could receive €65 million, according to The Telegraph. Jackson is said to be satisfied with the terms of a five-year deal in Bavaria, where he has stayed throughout this entire situation.

This update follows Jackson's representative Ali Barat's pledge to "fight" for his client's transfer. "We won't surrender," he stated in a Monday afternoon announcement. "I will battle with all my resources to ensure Nico's next move matches his ability, aspirations, and the strategy we developed together."

Chelsea 'Finalize' Permanent Premier League Transfer for Tyrique George

Beyond moving Jackson, Chelsea have also allegedly completed a transaction for fellow attacker Tyrique George.

The youth product substituted the injured Delap against Fulham on Saturday and, in a curious turn of events, finds himself relocating across west London. Fulham have agreed to pay the Blues £22 million ($29.8 million) for the 19-year-old who emerged in Maresca's senior squad last season, as reported by The Athletic.

George is believed to have accepted a five-year deal at Craven Cottage in an arrangement that also grants Chelsea a sell-on percentage should Fulham transfer him in the future.
