Bryan Mbeumo Back in Brentford Training as Manchester United Transfer Talks Cool Down

Bryan Mbeumo has rejoined Brentford's pre-season preparations this week while still awaiting his desired transfer to Manchester United, according to recent reports.
Although Mbeumo expressed his clear intention to move to United early in the summer transfer window, he remains in limbo as both clubs struggle to reach an agreement. His growing impatience was confirmed by Cameroon's assistant coach Ashu Cyprian Besong.
The player had hoped his transfer situation would be settled before Brentford's pre-season training commenced on Monday to prevent any uncomfortable situations with his current club, but The Athletic reports that negotiations have made minimal headway in recent weeks.
Manchester United have seen two offers for Mbeumo rejected, with their latest bid totaling £62.5 million ($84.1 million), and they have yet to table a third proposal.

Sources suggest a "substantial" gap remains between how each club values the player. While Brentford's exact asking price isn't universally confirmed, it's believed to exceed £70 million ($94.1 million).
Manchester United has committed to a patient approach in their Mbeumo pursuit, determined to avoid their historical tendency of overspending on transfers while remaining mindful of recent staff layoffs implemented for financial reasons.
Discussions between both clubs continue, with all parties monitoring how Mbeumo conducts himself as he returns to training. Brentford won't want to retain a player who could negatively impact team harmony.
Brentford's director Phil Giles has stated the club would be content keeping Mbeumo if United fails to meet their valuation, even suggesting the Cameroonian striker would have no issues completing the season with them.
