Bryan Mbeumo Reveals Striking Parallel Between Man Utd's Amorim and Brentford Boss Frank

New signing Bryan Mbeumo has disclosed that Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim employs a comparable "enjoyable approach" to his previous manager Thomas Frank, though he acknowledges his Old Trafford journey has been "challenging."
Mbeumo attracted interest from both Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur during the transfer window and was allegedly encouraged by Brentford to explore options other than United throughout a turbulent transfer saga that extended for several months. However, for a player who idolized Cristiano Ronaldo wearing the famous red jersey, he consistently preferred a transfer to Manchester.
The anticipated move hasn't been entirely smooth sailing so far. Mbeumo netted his debut goal for United during a disappointing Carabao Cup second-round elimination against fourth-division Grimsby Town. The Cameroon striker found the net once more in the team's sole victory this season versus Burnley, which was ultimately sealed by Bruno Fernandes' injury-time penalty.
"It's been challenging," Mbeumo shared with Manchester United's YouTube channel during a chess match. "I had high expectations coming here because it's a massive club. Everything about it is massive.
"I'm genuinely pleased with my experience here, the players, the coaching staff, everyone at Carrington are wonderful people," Mbeumo added. "You genuinely want to arrive and put in work here daily, which is fantastic. When I initially join somewhere unfamiliar, I prefer not to be vocal or display myself prominently [be extroverted]."

Mbeumo: Amorim and Frank Share Common Traits
Ruben Amorim was instrumental in persuading the talented striker to sign with United. The ex-Sporting CP coach has been highly complimentary of his new acquisition and the respect is evidently reciprocated; Mbeumo drew comparisons between Amorim and Frank, the manager who guided his development at Brentford before moving to Tottenham.
"I believe I've discovered some parallels because he consistently attempts to make it enjoyable, and I think this is genuinely significant because it makes your experience more pleasant," he thoughtfully observed.
Circumstances for Mbeumo and United may become considerably more difficult in the upcoming weeks. Amorim's team visits the Etihad Stadium on Sunday for this season's opening Manchester derby before welcoming current world champions Chelsea the subsequent weekend.
Mbeumo will then return to Brentford for his first visit, and if United maintain only their single Premier League victory by that west London encounter, it will hold much greater significance than merely Mbeumo's return.
