When Does the 2025–26 Champions League League Phase Start?

The opening round of Champions League league phase fixtures will take place between Sept. 16 and Sept. 18, with six of the eight matchdays scheduled during the remaining months of the current calendar year. The final matchday games will all occur on Jan. 28, 2026 to maintain competitive integrity.

The knockout playoff draw will be held on Jan. 30, 2026, with the two-leg ties subsequently played in mid-February.
