Chelsea Close In on Alejandro Garnacho Deal After Hammering Out Final Terms

Chelsea have reached agreement on "all aspects" of personal terms with Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, according to reports, as a move to Stamford Bridge appears imminent.

Although they have already secured Liam Delap, João Pedro and Jamie Gittens during this transfer window, Chelsea continue seeking additional offensive options. Garnacho has long been on the Blues' radar, with the club entering "serious negotiations" for a summer acquisition earlier this week.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea and Garnacho have finalized contractual terms, with the player seemingly eager to relocate to west London following confirmation he can leave United.

Garnacho had disagreements with United boss Ruben Amorim and was consequently placed in the five-player "unwanted list" alongside Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia. So far, only Rashford has departed from this group—securing a season-long loan move to Barcelona.

As Chelsea progress toward completing the transfer, sources suggest Garnacho anticipates joining the Blues before the window shuts.

Garnacho may not be Chelsea's sole attacking addition this month, though. The club maintains strong interest in RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons, who has made several public statements suggesting his eagerness for a transfer.

Simons is reportedly pushing privately to secure a Chelsea move, with the club now prepared to submit a formal offer following several profitable player sales.

Additional squad space could emerge through potential departures of Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Raheem Sterling and several other peripheral players who remain on the transfer list.
