Chelsea Strikes Gold: Garnacho Transfer from Man Utd Sealed with Shocking Fee Exposed

Alejandro Garnacho is heading to Chelsea after the Blues and Manchester United have reportedly struck a deal for the Argentine winger's move.
The complete transfer package features a £40 million guaranteed fee plus a 10% sell-on clause, according to The Athletic on Thursday. Garnacho is expected to pen a seven-year deal with his new team and complete his medical examination on Friday.
The 21-year-old had been consistently connected with overseas moves, but was reportedly determined to remain in the Premier League should he depart Old Trafford. Indications of a potential exit emerged following last season's conclusion after he expressed dissatisfaction with his playing time following the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Ruben Amorim allegedly informed him to seek alternative employment at season's end, considering him expendable. Additional players linked with departures include Antony, who appears intent on returning to Real Betis, and Jadon Sancho.
Marcus Rashford has also departed the club on another loan spell this summer, joining Barcelona.
Garnacho becomes part of a Chelsea squad rich in offensive options. The Blues have already secured João Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens as summer acquisitions in attack while welcoming Estêvão following his completed transfer from Brazil last year. Enzo Maresca's team still features players like Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto. Sancho famously spent the previous campaign on loan at Stamford Bridge, though Chelsea paid compensation for declining to trigger a purchase option in that arrangement.
Garnacho would mark Chelsea's ninth acquisition this summer overall. This transfer occurs as Chelsea were also connected with RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons. The Blues are additionally nearing an agreement to send Christopher Nkunku to AC Milan.
The Argentine made 93 Premier League appearances for Man Utd, netting 16 goals and recording eight assists.
