Christian Pulisic Lights Up San Siro as AC Milan Star Reaches Stunning Milestone

Christian Pulisic delivered an outstanding performance for AC Milan on Saturday, netting a brace and contributing an assist in a commanding 3–0 triumph against Udinese in Serie A play.

With his three-goal contribution, Pulisic reached an extraordinary milestone, establishing himself as the first player to register a minimum of 25 goals while providing no fewer than 15 assists across the previous three Serie A campaigns, tallying 25 goals and 17 assists during his time with AC Milan.

The American midfielder made his presence felt early in the contest, though he had to wait until the 40th minute to find the back of the net for his opening strike, swiftly advancing through the middle of the park before playing the ball to Pervis Estupiñán, whose effort deflected back into Pulisic's path. The USMNT star made no error in converting the first goal.

Pulisic registered his assist in the 47th minute, pursuing and dispossessing Jesper Karlström before creating the opportunity for Youssouf Fofana to finish inside the penalty area.

Under 10 minutes later, he secured his third goal contribution of the afternoon, receiving a pass from Adrien Rabiot in the 53rd minute before firing a powerful low strike into the net, a shot that goalkeeper Răzvan Sava may wish he could have another chance at.

Beyond reaching this remarkable Serie A achievement, he also became only the second U.S. men's national team player to record two goals and one assist in a top-five European league fixture over the past 20 years—the first since Jordan Pefok accomplished this feat in Ligue 1 for Rennes against Nîmes in 2018.

Along with his scoring contributions, Pulisic registered 46 touches, four tackles and successfully completed 23 of his 26 pass attempts.

This display extended an exceptional run of form for the 27-year-old, who has recorded four goals and two assists across his last seven appearances for both AC Milan and the USMNT.

Pulisic returns to action with Milan on Sept. 23 against Lecce in the Coppa Italia, and appears set to rejoin the USMNT for October friendlies versus Ecuador and Australia as preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup intensify.
