Club World Cup Action Heats Up: Complete TV and Streaming Guide for Today's Matches (June 20)

Five continents. Four matches, Two groups. Friday presents another exciting lineup of 2025 Club World Cup encounters.

The tournament has showcased some intense battles among the globe's elite teams so far, and the excitement will only escalate as the competition progresses, with the second round of matches for all eight squads in Group C and Group D taking place on Friday.

While no AFC teams will be in action, representatives from all other continental confederations will participate in another round of thrilling competition.

Here's your guide to catching all the Club World Cup action on Friday around the world.

Club World Cup Schedule: Friday, June 20

Friday's first match may not be the most thrilling encounter, but it certainly offers the potential for plenty of goals. Tournament minnows Auckland City suffered a devastating 10–0 defeat in their opening game and will be looking to regain some dignity against Benfica. While another loss seems certain, Auckland hopes to keep the margin respectable against the Portuguese outfit, who desperately need a win following their opening draw.

Bayern Munich was responsible for Auckland City's humiliation and will look to dominate Boca Juniors in similar fashion. While the scoreline won't be as lopsided, the German giants will enter as heavy favorites against the Argentine club, who may still be recovering from squandering a two-goal advantage against Benfica in their previous outing. The day's final fixture promises entertainment no matter the result.

Chelsea hoped to kick off their Club World Cup journey with the same momentum that concluded their 2024–25 season and managed to secure an opening victory—though it wasn't entirely persuasive. They must elevate their performance to claim all three points on Friday against Brazilian powerhouse Flamengo in Philadelphia. The South American side also won their opener and will aim to cause an upset under the guidance of former Chelsea player Filipe Luís.

Both teams suffered 2–0 defeats in their opening matches, making Friday's clash crucial for Los Angeles FC and Espérance de Tunis. A draw or loss could prove devastating given the quality of Group D opposition, potentially creating a cautious encounter, though LAFC will benefit from playing on home soil.
