2025–26 Copa Del Rey Round of 32 Draw
Copa del Rey Round of 32 Schedule
All matches are scheduled for the midweek period from December 16–18, 2025. Madrid, for instance, will visit Talavera—currently sitting at the bottom of the third tier—sandwiched between league encounters against Alavés and Sevilla before enjoying some holiday break.
Barcelona will meet Guadalajara during a week that separates a home match against Osasuna and an away fixture at Villarreal, which—regardless of the club's intentions—will take place in Spain rather than Miami.
Copa del Rey Final Date
The 2025–26 championship match is set for April 25, 2026, at Seville's Estadio de La Cartuja, with both finalists securing spots in the following year's Supercopa de España. The champion will also earn automatic qualification for the Europa League.
The Estadio de La Cartuja has been the venue for this fixture over the last six years and features a capacity exceeding 70,000 spectators.
Previous Copa del Rey Champion

Barcelona claimed the 2024–25 Copa del Rey title as part of their remarkable domestic treble last season. This marked La Blaugrana's first victory since the 2020–21 campaign, defeating arch-rivals Real Madrid 3–2 in extra time.
Pedri gave Barça the lead midway through the opening period, but consecutive strikes from Aurélien Tchouaméni and Kylian Mbappé reversed the situation. Ferran Torres then leveled the score in the 84th minute, before unexpected hero Jules Koundé netted the decisive goal with merely four minutes of extra time left.
Copa del Rey Record Holders

The previous season's triumph represented Barcelona's 32nd Copa del Rey victory since the tournament's inception. Their inaugural success occurred in 1910, with particularly successful periods during the 1980s and 2010s when they captured 13 finals across both decades.
Athletic Club, who secured the trophy in 2023–24, holds second place with 24 titles, ahead of Real Madrid's 20 victories. Xabi Alonso claimed the competition twice as a player with Los Blancos and aims to capture the title in his inaugural season as manager.
Seventeen teams have previously reached the final without ever claiming victory, including clubs such as Getafe, Celta Vigo, Elche, Granada and Osasuna.
