Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez Finally Make It Official with Stunning Engagement Announcement

Georgina Rodríguez, the longtime companion of Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed their engagement following almost ten years as a couple.

The 31-year-old influencer used social media platforms to announce the joyful news, sharing an image displaying her new engagement ring on her ring finger.

"Yes I do," Rodríguez captioned her Instagram post. "In this and in all my lives."

This announcement arrives nine years after Rodríguez began her romance with the five-time Ballon d'Or recipient Ronaldo. Their relationship started in 2016 during Ronaldo's tenure at Real Madrid, and they have since journeyed together from Spain to Italy, England, and currently Saudi Arabia, where the Portuguese icon plays for Al Nassr.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez are parents to two children and co-star in the Netflix documentary series, I Am Georgina.

The 40-year-old athlete had previously discussed on the program his anticipation for the right moment to propose.

"It might happen in a year, perhaps in six months, or maybe in a month. I'm absolutely certain that [a proposal will] occur," Ronaldo stated in March.

The Madrid icon has fulfilled his promise and will begin the 2025–26 campaign as a recently engaged athlete, having also secured a two-year contract extension with Al Nassr reportedly valued at £492 million ($660.9 million).

Ronaldo aims to guide Al Nassr to Saudi Pro League glory after the club managed only a third-place standing in the previous campaign.
