As Cristiano Ronaldo recuperates from an injury in the Spanish capital, reports indicate his eldest son trained with Real Madrid's youth academy on Tuesday.
At the age of 15, Ronaldo Jr has featured in the youth setups at Manchester United, Juventus, and Al Nassr, tagging along with his father around the world. Now, the young teenager appears set to add Real Madrid to his already impressive list of clubs.
The Athletic reports that Ronaldo Jr trained with Los Blancos' U-16 squad this week, with a view to potentially joining La Fábrica in the "near future." The forward is currently registered with Al Nassr, but is not with the squad as his father undergoes rehabilitation for a muscular injury in Spain.
Ronaldo Jr previously received his first Portugal youth call-up in May 2025 with the U-15 squad and has since progressed to represent the U-17 side. Despite being born on American soil, he chose to represent his father's home nation and may now be set to follow a similar path at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo Jr Has an Impossible Legacy to Follow

Should Ronaldo Jr eventually put pen to paper with Real Madrid, he will arrive at Valdebebas carrying enormous expectations. His father, after all, is widely regarded as the greatest player in the club's storied history.
Ronaldo remains Los Blancos' all-time top scorer, having netted 451 goals in 438 appearances. The Portuguese superstar claimed four of his five Ballon d'Or awards during his time with the Spanish giants and shattered virtually every goalscoring record for the club, La Liga, and the Champions League.
Beyond personal achievements, Ronaldo also played a pivotal role in helping Real Madrid claim four Champions League trophies, two La Liga titles, and 10 additional honors.
Carving out his own identity at the club where his father became a legend is an enormous challenge for anyone, let alone a teenager like Ronaldo Jr. He could, however, draw inspiration from Marcelo's 16-year-old son Enzo Alves, who penned his first professional deal with Real Madrid back in January.
La Fábrica Producing More and More Stars

Barcelona's La Masia has long held a stronger reputation for developing elite homegrown talent in Spain over the past decade, but La Fábrica is closing the gap rapidly. Current skipper Federico Valverde is a product of the club's youth system and has already collected two Champions League medals to his name.
New head coach Álvaro Arbeloa, formerly in charge of Real Madrid Castilla, handed 18-year-old Thiago Pitarch a starting berth during the team's injury crisis — a decision the midfielder has more than justified.
There are also the talents who ultimately moved on to other clubs, such as Paris Saint-Germain star Achraf Hakimi and Atlético Madrid's Marcos Llorente. Nico Paz is similarly making waves in Serie A with Como, though the Argentine is widely expected to return to the Bernabéu this summer.
