Arsenal shot-stopper David Raya secured his third straight Premier League Golden Glove on Sunday after the Gunners edged West Ham United 1–0.
The Spanish keeper, who momentarily had his clean sheet at London Stadium taken away when Callum Wilson slotted home a stoppage-time leveler for the Hammers, was relieved when referee Chris Kavanagh overturned the goal following an extended review, ruling that Raya had been fouled in the process.
The disallowed strike and the resulting three points not only pushed Arsenal closer to the Premier League title, but also officially confirmed Raya as the 2025–26 Golden Glove recipient. The 30-year-old posted 18 clean sheets across 36 league outings this season, enough to seal the accolade for a third successive year—with two matches still remaining.
Only three other goalkeepers in Premier League history have won the honor in three straight seasons: Liverpool's Pepe Reina (2006–2008), Manchester City's Joe Hart (2011–2013), and City's Ederson (2020–2022).
2025–26 Premier League Golden Glove Standings
Pos. | Goalkeeper | Club | Clean Sheets |
|---|---|---|---|
1 | David Raya | Arsenal | 18 |
2 | Gianluigi Donnarumma | Man City | 14 |
3 | Jordan Pickford | Everton | 11 |
4 | Dean Henderson | Crystal Palace | 11 |
5 | Djordje Petrovic | Bournemouth | 10 |
Raya's 18 Premier League clean sheets this campaign stand above all other shot-stoppers in the division. City's Gianluigi Donnarumma occupies second place with 14; with only three fixtures left for Pep Guardiola's side, he has no chance of catching the former Brentford keeper.
The total marks Raya's best return since he arrived at Arsenal ahead of the 2023–24 season. In his first campaign in red, he recorded 16 Premier League clean sheets. The following season, he managed 13 shutouts, drawing level with Nottingham Forest's Matz Sels to share the league lead.
All three seasons combined to hand Raya a hat-trick of Golden Glove awards—a feat that should come as little surprise given his consistent displays since making his Premier League debut in 2021.
Most Premier League Clean Sheets Since 2021–22

Goalkeeper | Clean Sheets |
|---|---|
David Raya | 67 |
Alisson | 59 |
Jordan Pickford | 51 |
Ederson | 51 |
Emiliano Martínez | 45 |
Nick Pope | 43 |
Despite all the acclaim heaped upon Alisson and Emiliano Martínez over the years, it is Raya who leads all Premier League goalkeepers in clean sheets since 2021–22. Between his spells at Brentford and Arsenal, he has accumulated 67 shutouts in England's top division.
No other goalkeeper in the league over that period has come close to 60, with Alisson the nearest challenger on 59 clean sheets.
Should Raya continue his outstanding form for the Gunners next season and claim yet another Golden Glove, he will join Petr Čech and Hart as the only goalkeepers to have won the award on four separate occasions.
