Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain square off in a marquee preseason friendly on Saturday, with the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg serving as the venue.
While PSG are just beginning their 2026–27 preseason preparations, United are already three matches into their summer campaign, arriving here on the back of a comeback 2–1 victory over Atlético Madrid in Stockholm.
The Red Devils are meeting the back-to-back European champions for the first time since 2020, when PSG claimed a 3–1 win at a fan-less Old Trafford during a Champions League group stage match. The previous season, the two clubs were part of one of the most unforgettable knockout ties in the competition's recent history, as United overturned a 2–0 first-leg deficit in Paris to progress to the quarterfinals.

What's Next for Man Utd, PSG?
Man Utd still have preseason friendlies against Leeds United and AC Milan — now managed by former Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim — remaining before the new season kicks off.
They take on Leeds on Aug. 12 and Milan on Aug. 15, exactly one week before their Premier League opener at Hull City.
PSG, meanwhile, have two trophies up for grabs even before their Ligue 1 season begins. First, they face Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg on Aug. 12. Then, Enrique's side meet Lens in the Trophée des Champions final on Aug. 16.
