Don't Miss Argentina vs. Iceland: Your Complete Guide to Watching Live on TV and Stream

Argentina is gearing up for a North American World Cup on home soil, with the defending champions heading to Auburn, Alabama, for their last warm-up fixture before the tournament begins.

Although Lionel Scaloni's squad qualified comfortably and still boasts the greatest footballer of all time, the confidence surrounding Argentina that was so evident ahead of Qatar simply isn't as palpable this time around.

Argentina has faced little real challenge since the qualification campaign wrapped up last September, with Scaloni's men limited to matches against lower-ranked opposition in the lead-up to their title defense. The South Americans are chasing history, aiming to become the first nation since Brazil in 1962 to successfully defend the World Cup, having lifted their third trophy back in 2022.

Iceland's only encounter with the South American giants came at their sole World Cup appearance in 2018. At the time the smallest nation by population ever to qualify for football's biggest stage, the Icelanders put on a remarkable display in Russia, holding Argentina to a 1–1 stalemate, with Messi seeing a second-half penalty stopped by the goalkeeper.

Much of that squad has since moved on, and Argentina will be heavy favorites against a side ranked 75th in the world by FIFA.

Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the match on TV.
