Don't Miss the 2025–26 FA Cup Third Round Draw: Your Complete TV and Streaming Guide
The FA Cup third round draw has finally arrived.
This year's tournament started for 446 clubs during the opening weekend of August, when teams from the ninth level of England's football hierarchy began the extra preliminary round. Roman Glass St George couldn't replicate their impressive 7–0 victory and the remaining ninth-tier sides have since been eliminated, though four teams from beyond the professional Football League will participate in Monday's draw—double the number from the previous season.
Importantly, all 20 Premier League teams will also be included in the draw. No other stage of the tournament delivers more of the signature "Magic of the Cup" than this initial mixing of different divisions.
Non-league Tamworth notably came extremely close to achieving a remarkable upset against Tottenham Hotspur in last year's third round, taking the match to extra time after squandering an excellent opportunity at their home ground in the final moments of regular time. Perhaps Spurs were distracted by their changing facilities, which consisted of a converted portable cabin situated behind one of the stands. Tamworth had made an effort to make them comfortable, decorating the humble surroundings in Tottenham's colors.
The Lambs unfortunately succumbed in the first round proper this campaign, but teams like sixth-tier Weston-super-Mare and Macclesfield along with National League side Boreham Wood will be aiming to create their own memorable giant-killing moment.
Here's your guide to watching the event unfold.

When Is the FA Cup Third Round?
There's ample time for excitement and anticipation to develop. The draw occurs more than a month before the actual matches commence. The specific dates and times for each fixture will be decided once the participating teams are announced, but the FA has already confirmed that the third round will occur during the weekend of Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.
For Premier League clubs competing for the title, this timing could prove quite challenging. Arsenal, for instance, welcomes defending champions Liverpool on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026. The condition of Arne Slot's squad by that point remains uncertain—and Mohamed Salah's participation is among numerous variables to consider.
Nevertheless, the discontented Egypt star isn't the only potential absence during FA Cup third round weekend. The Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals are scheduled simultaneously. Multiple Premier League teams could easily be without several key players due to international commitments, including Manchester United with their trio of Bryan Mbeumo (Cameroon), Amad Diallo (Côte d'Ivoire) and Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco).
