Eddie Howe Breaks Silence on Alexander Isak's Explosive Reaction as Liverpool Transfer Battle Intensifies
Eddie Howe expressed his lack of awareness regarding allegations that Alexander Isak had been informed he was prohibited from moving to Liverpool this summer, while not ruling out that such conversations may have occurred without his knowledge.
The Newcastle United boss has appeared increasingly frustrated throughout this continuing transfer drama. Following Liverpool's genuine pursuit of the Swedish striker that surfaced earlier this summer, it became clear that Isak desired to depart St. James' Park.

When questioned about reports suggesting Isak had been directly informed by the club's hierarchy that he was not available for transfer under any conditions, Howe acknowledged: "That's not something I'm aware of. Of course, there's discussions going on all the time that I'm not party to. I have no knowledge of that."
Howe was also questioned whether he couldn't simply communicate with Isak and resolve any issues while negotiations continued behind the scenes. "If it was that easy, I'd have done it yesterday," the English manager responded curtly.
This resolute stance from Newcastle has allegedly created "bitterness and friction", with Isak reportedly in a state of "rage", according to The Telegraph. Co-owner Jamie Reuben, who has been spearheading the club's transfer dealings alongside Howe's nephew Andy due to the absence of a permanent sporting director, is characterized as adopting an "aggressive" approach.
