England Face Czechia in Nations League Showdown: Bold Predictions, Key Lineups, and What to Expect

England Face Czechia in Nations League Showdown: Bold Predictions, Key Lineups, and What to Expect

England enters Tuesday's Nations League home fixture against Czechia riding a wave of momentum.

Thomas Tuchel's Three Lions delivered a breathtaking 7–0 thrashing of Croatia at the weekend, with the lethal attacking quartet of Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Anthony Gordon running amok.

England has responded emphatically to a disappointing 3–2 opening defeat to Spain in Group 3 of League A. The Croatia rout came on the back of a solid 2–0 victory over 10-man Czechia away from home.

The heat on Tuchel has noticeably subsided following the heartbreaking late collapse against Argentina in the 2026 World Cup semifinal, and a second consecutive win over Czechia—this time at Wembley—would provide a further lift to the squad's spirits.

Santi Denia's tenure has begun with three straight losses, though Czechia have not been completely outclassed in any of those defeats. Even so, it would take something extraordinary for them to take anything from this London encounter.

England vs. Czechia Score Prediction

Good Times Keep Rolling for England

England players celebrate

Another seven-goal haul seems unlikely, but a comfortable victory is still very much on the cards when Czechia visits.

The two sides are separated by 44 places in the FIFA rankings—and with good reason. England possesses a wealth of world-class talent that has been on full display during this international window, whereas Czechia are tactically constrained and lack a standout figure capable of elevating the team to a higher level.

England should dismantle Denia's outfit and put on a show for the Wembley faithful.

Prediction: England 3–0 Czechia

England Predicted Lineup vs. Czechia

England predicted lineup

Tuchel will be forced to manage without the impressive Alex Scott for the Czechia clash. The Bournemouth midfielder sustained a quad injury on his first senior appearance against Croatia and faces approximately six to eight weeks on the sidelines—ruling him out of the November international window as well.

Nico O'Reilly is another recent withdrawal through injury, joining Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo, Declan Rice and Marcus Rashford on the absentee list.

Rico Lewis has been called up to the squad, though the adaptable full-back looks unlikely to earn a starting berth at Wembley. James Garner or Myles Lewis-Skelly are the frontrunners to fill Scott's midfield role alongside Elliot Anderson in the double pivot.

Tuchel may opt to rotate some key players, with Bellingham potentially making way for Morgan Rogers in the No. 10 role. Eberechi Eze could slot in on the left flank in place of Gordon, while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarrad Branthwaite and Trevoh Chalobah may all be handed defensive duties.

Harry Kane will once again lead the attack, equaling the all-time appearance record with his 125th cap for the Three Lions.

England predicted lineup vs. Czechia (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Chalobah, Branthwaite, Hall; Anderson, Lewis-Skelly; Saka, Rogers, Eze; Kane.

Czechia Predicted Lineup vs. England

Czechia predicted lineup

Pavel Šulc will be available again after serving a one-match suspension following his red card against England, but Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ladislav Krejčí is now banned after being dismissed against Spain in their last outing.

Tottenham Hotspur's Antonín Kinský started between the posts against La Roja and could get another opportunity in a city he knows well, while Robin Hranáč is set to return to the starting XI in place of Krejčí.

Michal Sadílek and Lukáš Červ are expected to come back into midfield, though Adam Karabec remains uncertain due to a knock and Vladimír Coufal may be sidelined with a knee problem.

Czechia predicted lineup vs. England (4-2-3-1): Kinský; Sácek, Chaloupek, Hranáč, Sláma; Sadílek, Červ; Radosta, Šulc, Lingr; Hložek.
