Estevao Unveils the Game-Changing Factor Behind His Explosive Chelsea Breakthrough

Brazilian prodigy Estêvão has expressed his delight with his initial performances at Chelsea and confirmed he has already earned the confidence of manager Enzo Maresca through dedicated effort and commitment.
Chelsea secured an agreement to acquire Estêvão from Brazilian powerhouse Palmeiras in 2024, though the young talent only linked up with the Blues during the current summer window, finalizing an impressive move worth £29 million ($39.3 million) in guaranteed fees plus potential bonuses reaching £22 million.
After showcasing his abilities with Palmeiras at the FIFA Club World Cup, the 18-year-old has hit the ground running in Chelsea colors, featuring as a starter in two of the team's opening three Premier League fixtures and claiming the official Player of the Match honor during the commanding 5–1 victory over West Ham United.
Estêvão acknowledged his surprise at being integrated so rapidly into the first-team setup at Stamford Bridge, emphasizing that dedicated training has been key to securing manager Maresca's confidence.

"Everything has happened so rapidly, and I'm receiving far more chances than I anticipated at Chelsea," the Brazil international shared with Globo Esporte. "This comes from my dedication during training sessions. Maresca has great faith in me, and I strive to justify that belief through my performances.
"The pace of matches and playing style are completely different. English football is more demanding physically and mentally. I'm still adjusting, but fortunately everything is falling into place."
He continued: "I'm extremely content because this is my sole passion and expertise. I approach the game with enthusiasm and enjoyment. That defines my character."
Estêvão has capitalized on teammate Cole Palmer's early-season injury, which has created regular first-team chances for him, with the speedy attacker seizing every opportunity to win over both Maresca and the Chelsea faithful.
Following his participation in both of Brazil's September international fixtures, Estêvão will rejoin Chelsea action this Saturday when the Blues travel to face neighboring west London rivals Brentford in Premier League competition.
