European Giants Eye Arsenal Star Gabriel Martinelli in Transfer Talks

Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a potential acquisition of Arsenal's winger Gabriel Martinelli, as per German media reports.
The Brazilian attacker experienced an inconsistent season leading Arsenal's somewhat ineffective offensive line. After delivering his best professional campaign in 2022–23, where he netted 15 Premier League goals—matching the highest total ever achieved by a Brazilian player in England's premier division—Martinelli has managed just 14 league strikes across the following two seasons combined.
With Mikel Arteta seeking to strengthen an attacking unit that failed to impress during their third straight runner-up finish, discussions have emerged about Martinelli's potential departure. Barcelona have shown interest in the speedy winger, and Bayern Munich are now reportedly monitoring the 24-year-old's situation, as stated by BILD's Christian Falk.
Martinelli isn't the sole attacking player connected to the current German titleholders. Bayern have allegedly presented another contract proposal to Athletic Club's Nico Williams, while AC Milan's Rafael Leão is considered a primary objective. Additionally, there's increasing talk that they might pursue Liverpool's Cody Gakpo and Luis Díaz.

This abundance of prospective signings is believed to stem from Bayern's comprehensive transfer approach; specifically, investigating the availability of numerous players instead of focusing on one particular target.
Nevertheless, Bayern's roster would have space for multiple new attacking players. After Leroy Sané's departure, who was reportedly a key target for Arsenal, Vincent Kompany might also need to release Kingsley Coman.
In yet another potential setback for the Gunners, Bayern have been associated with RB Leipzig's striker Benjamin Šeško, the primary candidate to address the significant gap at striker in Arsenal's attacking formation. Whether Arteta's team will actually pursue the expensive—and relatively untested—22-year-old remains questionable.
