European Giants Submit Official Bid for Liverpool Star Luis Diaz

Liverpool have rejected a formal bid from Bayern Munich for winger Luis Díaz, according to reports, with the Reds valuing the Colombian at approximately €100 million (£86.8 million, $116.7 million).
Díaz has two years remaining on his Anfield contract and his unsettled situation has attracted attention from multiple clubs worldwide. Several wealthy Saudi Pro League teams have shown interest, but Díaz is reportedly being monitored by both Bayern and La Liga title holders Barcelona.
Barcelona's interest in signing Díaz has continued throughout the summer, with their unsuccessful attempt to secure Athletic Club's Nico Williams intensifying the rumors.
Nevertheless, The Athletic reports that Bayern, who regained their Bundesliga title from Bayer Leverkusen last term, are making the strongest push for a transfer. The Club World Cup quarter-final losers are believed to have approached Liverpool with a €67.5 million (£58.6 million, $78.8 million) proposal for Díaz.
Similar to Barcelona's earlier summer approach, Liverpool have quickly rejected the offer. Following this rejection, Díaz is reported to have told Liverpool management about his intention to depart the club this summer. He has openly hinted at an exit for several weeks and has expressed his clear desire to move elsewhere.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are not actively seeking to sell Díaz. The report indicates it would require a €100 million (£86.8 million, $116.7 million) offer to persuade the Reds to consider negotiations, primarily for financial considerations rather than any strong intention to part with the Colombian international.
All interested parties have been made aware of this position, with Liverpool clearly communicating they will not be forced into accepting a reduced offer for the 28-year-old despite his contract running until 2027.
It remains uncertain whether Bayern will submit an enhanced bid. Vincent Kompany's team have compiled an extensive list of potential signings following unsuccessful pursuits of Florian Wirtz and Williams, and while Díaz tops their wishlist, he is not their sole target under review.
Sports Illustrated understands that Rafael Leão is viewed as a key target, while Arsenal pair Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have also been mentioned. Díaz's Liverpool colleague, Dutch international Cody Gakpo, is another player who has been suggested for a potential move to the Allianz Arena.
