European Giants Target Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson as Blues Face Crucial Loan Decision Deadline

Diomansy Kamara, who represents Nicolas Jackson, has disclosed that a choice about his player's destiny will be reached "in the next 48 hours" amid speculation that Bayern Munich have submitted a bid to acquire Chelsea's dynamic striker on a temporary deal this summer.

The speedy attacker has been made available for transfer by the Blues after the recent signings of João Pedro and Liam Delap. Enzo Maresca has maintained that Jackson still has a place in the team, with the player continuing to participate in first-team sessions, though external club interest keeps growing.

"Germany, Italy, England: the possibilities are plentiful, the choice is approaching," Kamara informed Foot Mercato. "Appreciate the backing, we notice your communications. Nicolas Jackson, move anticipated in 48 hours."

Bayern Munich have previously had a temporary deal for Christopher Nkunku rejected this summer, and are reported by The Times to be pursuing Jackson separately. The Senegal striker has reportedly already reached agreement on individual terms with the German champions, according to Bild.

Chelsea "would rather sell" Jackson but their reaction to this newest bid stays unknown. The Blues are consistently characterized as "not hurrying" to determine the 24-year-old's fate, mainly due to multiple other competing bids for a player who has reached double-figure Premier League goals in back-to-back campaigns.

Newcastle United have similarly been strongly connected with Jackson in their ongoing quest for a new striker. There are "reservations" within the club's leadership about Jackson, The Athletic states, with some highlighting his rather troubling disciplinary history. The aggressive forward has received three red cards in the last three years, including during his most recent visit to St James' Park.

Aston Villa are believed to be interested. Villa manager Unai Emery was the coach who provided the young, unpolished Senegalese striker his initial opportunities in one of Europe's premier leagues in 2021 during his time at Villarreal.

"I never attended a football academy," Jackson remembered in a conversation with The Telegraph. "I simply played on the streets and I was fast and could dribble. But when I moved to Spain, Unai Emery was present and he shaped me."

Chelsea's willingness to accept a loan arrangement might depend on other departures. After Aarón Anselmino's planned move to Borussia Dortmund is completed, the Blues will have only one international loan position left.
