European Powerhouses Set Sights on Nicolas Jackson in Dream Transfer Move

Reports suggest that AC Milan are exploring the possibility of acquiring Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
Jackson served as Chelsea's primary forward during the previous season, netting 10 goals across 30 Premier League appearances, though a poorly-timed dismissal against Newcastle United towards the season's end intensified scrutiny on him even before Chelsea brought in Liam Delap.
Delap's promising beginning, combined with Jackson's second red card at the Club World Cup, heightened the speculation, while João Pedro's impressive debut performance against Fluminense has fueled rumors about Jackson's potential exit.
Matteo Moretto was among the initial reporters to identify Milan as potential candidates for Jackson's signature, with Fabrizio Romano subsequently verifying the Rossoneri's interest.

Jackson is reportedly available for transfer at the appropriate valuation, though the asking price—which earlier reports indicated could reach €60 million (£51.7 million, $70.2 million)—appears excessive for Milan's current budget.
The progression of discussions with Milan remains uncertain, though this wouldn't mark the first interaction between these clubs during the summer window. Chelsea attempted to secure Milan's goalkeeper Mike Maignan in the transfer window's opening week, hoping to finalize an agreement before the Club World Cup commenced.
Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has subsequently stated that Maignan, who enters his contract's final year and has allegedly indicated he won't extend his deal, will stay with the club through the 2025–26 season. Currently, there are no indications that Chelsea might revive their pursuit.
Jackson is understood to have several alternatives at his disposal, with Premier League teams also expressing interest in acquiring his talents.
