Ex-Real Madrid Stars and Mexico's Gold Cup Heroes Headline Star-Studded 2025 Liga MX All-Stars Squad

Liga MX has revealed its 2025 All-Star squad that will journey to the United States for the All-Star match against MLS's finest talents on July 23.
The Liga MX All-Star roster was assembled through various methods. The initial 14 squad members were disclosed several weeks prior, featuring the 14 players selected by supporters who received nominations for the Liga MX 2025 Ballon d'Or honors.
Club América's André Jardine secured the Manager of the Year accolade, which means he'll not only coach from the sidelines during the All-Star encounter, but he was also entrusted with selecting an additional 14 players to complete the squad. Mikel Arriola, the Mexican soccer federation's commissioner, will determine the final two players to round out the traveling roster.
The impressive lineup features former Real Madrid legends Sergio Ramos and James Rodríguez, alongside seven players who recently claimed the 2025 Gold Cup victory with Mexico over the USMNT.
América leads with the highest number of All-Star picks, having six players from Las Águilas included in the squad. Current Liga MX titleholders Toluca and Concacaf Champions Cup victors Cruz Azul each provided five players to the roster.
On paper, it represents a powerful team, showcasing the finest talent Mexico's premier division can provide. The Liga MX All-Stars will now aim to overcome the MLS All-Stars for the consecutive second year in a contest that fully showcases the inter-league competition.
