Barcelona attacker Ferran Torres has spoken out about his future, acknowledging that while he remains under contract with the Spanish club, "you never know" what football may bring.
Torres is currently enjoying his post-tournament break after netting the decisive goal that secured Spain's victory at the 2026 World Cup final against Argentina. The winger has been heavily linked with a switch to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, and during a guest spot on NBC's "The Today Show," he only added to the swirling transfer rumors.
"I have a contract at Barcelona, but in football you never know," Torres said. "I'm just waiting to make the right decision, but I don't know yet."
When pressed about whether he has a dream club in mind, Torres surprisingly answered, "Yes." Asked to name the club, he simply replied, "Just be happy," before breaking into laughter.

Torres was later questioned directly about PSG's reported interest, and he didn't shy away from sharing his thoughts, while also outlining what Barcelona would need to do to retain him.
"Well, it's always nice that clubs of that caliber are interested in you," Torres stated. "But in the end I have a contract with Barcelona. It's true that in soccer you never know what might happen, but the good part is that since I have a contract, I can wait and decide for myself."
"They must show that they want me," Torres said when asked what Barcelona must do to keep him. "That they come to negotiate and for all of us to talk in the end."
