FIFA Unveils 2025's Ultimate Dream Teams: The World's Best Men's and Women's XIs Revealed
The 2025 Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony on Tuesday night saw Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League triumphant squad claim the majority of spots in the Best FIFA Men's 11.
Half a dozen players who contributed to PSG's historic first European championship success were selected for the annual team, chosen by an expert panel.
Despite his subsequent transfer to Manchester City, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who claimed the Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper award, played a crucial role in PSG's successful campaign last season.
The Italian shot-stopper was accompanied in defense by Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes, alongside midfield talent Vitinha and 2025 Best FIFA Men's Player recipient Ousmane Dembélé.
Liverpool's central defender Virgil van Dijk earned his place following his contribution to the Reds' Premier League championship, while English midfield duo Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham also secured selections.
Barcelona claimed two spots after their domestic triple crown success. Lamine Yamal's inclusion was expected, with Pedri also receiving recognition. For Yamal, this marks his second FIFA 11 appearance despite being only 18 years old.

Spain and Barcelona players heavily influenced the Best FIFA Women's 11, though England's Lionesses received four selections following their successful European Championship defense.
Three-time consecutive Best FIFA Women's Player winner Aitana Bonmatí was an inevitable selection, joined by her Barcelona and Spain teammates Alexia Putellas, Patri Guijarro, Clàudia Pina, Irene Paredes and Ona Batlle.

Arsenal's Mariona Caldentey provided the connection between Spain and England, having transferred from Barcelona to the Gunners in 2024. Despite feeling overlooked for major individual honors this year after leading Arsenal to Champions League success, she earned recognition here.
Hannah Hampton, the newly-crowned Best FIFA Women's Goalkeeper, Lucy Bronze, Leah Williamson, and Alessia Russo rounded out the selection—the final two celebrating dual victories for both club and country.
