FIFPRO Unveils Star-Studded 2025 World XI Dream Team

The FIFPRO World XI for 2025 has been unveiled following voting by more than 20,000 players who selected the finest talents from around the world.

Shortlists containing 26 players each for both men's and women's football were announced in late December, featuring those who garnered the highest votes in their designated positions, and now the complete rosters of the 11 victorious players have been disclosed.

A remarkably offensive formation starts with Manchester City keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma positioned behind a three-defender setup featuring two of his ex-Paris Saint-Germain colleagues, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk stands as the sole traditional center-back selected and represents one of three players maintaining their position from the 2024 squad.

Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham also secures his spot in an exceptional midfield unit that includes PSG's Vitinha, Barcelona's Pedri, and Chelsea star Cole Palmer.

The forward selection contains few unexpected choices. Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé, the third and last holdover from 2024, is accompanied by Ballon d'Or champion Ousmane Dembélé and runner-up Lamine Yamal from Barcelona.

Chelsea keeper Hannah Hampton anchors the formation behind a defensive line featuring two additional Blues players. Right-back Lucy Bronze makes history as the first player to achieve eight Women's World XI selections, while Millie Bright also secures her position.

Arsenal's Leah Williamson and Barcelona's Ona Batlle complete the defensive quartet.

The midfield showcases strong Barcelona representation. Aitana Bonmatí and Alexia Putellas are joined by Morocco's Ghizlane Chebbak, who transferred from Barcelona to Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal in August.

The attacking trio consists of Orlando Pride's Barbra Banda alongside England pair Alessia Russo and Chloe Kelly, both instrumental in Arsenal's previous Champions League triumph.
