Five Manchester United Stars Demand Exit Before Pre-Season Training Begins

Manchester United have reached an agreement to postpone the return of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia following requests from all five players to depart the club during the summer transfer window, according to various media sources.

The Red Devils are scheduled to resume training on Monday, and earlier reports suggested that Rashford, who has come back from his loan spell at Aston Villa, would be among those joining the squad for the opening day of pre-season preparations.

The Athletic, alongside other publications, has verified that this will not happen and the quintet of players have all received permission to take additional time off to secure new destinations.

Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho, Antony and Malacia have reportedly all expressed their intention to depart Old Trafford this summer, and consequently they will receive extended time to resolve their situations, with revised return dates for the group scheduled for later in the month.

The Daily Mail reports that United have emphasized their readiness to welcome back any member of the group later this month should they fail to arrange their departures.

Player sales remain a key objective for United, who have consistently communicated to potential buyers that this group of players can be acquired for appropriate fees.

Rashford has attracted attention from both Bayern Munich and Barcelona but prefers a move to the Spanish giants, and his prospects may have improved following Athletic Club winger Nico Williams's rejection of a transfer to Catalonia.

Regarding Sancho, who couldn't reach an agreement with Chelsea following his season-long loan, reports indicate he is in discussions with Juventus. Another Serie A club, Napoli, who have long admired Garnacho, have also shown interest in the English player.

Real Betis are working on bringing Antony back to the club, while Malacia is searching for a new team after PSV Eindhoven chose not to activate their purchase option from last season's loan arrangement.
