FPL Gameweek 10 Gold Rush: Top Players Set to Deliver Maximum Points
A fresh set of exciting matches presents excellent opportunities for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points in Gameweek 10.
Chelsea's visit to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday stands out as the premier fixture of the round, though its unpredictable nature suggests FPL managers might want to steer clear. Thankfully, numerous other encounters are worth considering.
Below are the top player selections for Gameweek 10 in FPL.
Goalkeepers

Seeking a goalkeeper? Consider David Raya (£5.7m). The Arsenal keeper has been consistently delivering points this campaign, contributing to the Gunners' impressive six clean sheets across nine Premier League fixtures. Though the Spaniard doesn't provide significant save or bonus points, he consistently delivers six points weekly. Facing Burnley (A) this weekend, Raya should secure another clean sheet.
However, Raya isn't FPL's highest-scoring goalkeeper. That distinction belongs to Sunderland's Robin Roefs (£4.7m), who has been outstanding since joining the Premier League. He's collected 52 points from nine appearances with four clean sheets, and faces Everton (H) this weekend in what looks like an excellent opportunity for FPL managers.
Nick Pope (£5.2m) matches Raya's point total and represents another dependable clean sheet option. Newcastle United have already secured five this season and possess an excellent opportunity for another against Nuno Espírito Santo's struggling West Ham United (A) on Sunday afternoon.
Defenders

Arsenal's defensive players are impossible to overlook. Gabriel (£6.5m) stands as the clear choice having accumulated an impressive 62 points this season, with the Brazilian only appearing as a substitute in midweek's Carabao Cup match. He's recorded nine or more points in five of his previous six games and should deliver at Turf Moor.
Jurriën Timber (£6.1m) provides excellent double-up potential in Arsenal's defense, while Dan Burn (£5.1m) offers another pathway into Newcastle's solid backline. The tall defender leads the scoring among the Magpies' defensive players.
Crystal Palace enters a favorable fixture period, making both Daniel Muñoz (£5.7m) and the more affordable Marc Guéhi (£4.9m) attractive options. The latter has actually outperformed his colleague this season, though Muñoz presents better value with superior attacking potential. The Eagles host Brentford this weekend.
Budget-conscious managers will find Nordi Mukiele (£4.1m) intriguing. He's produced two double-digit returns in the last six matches and seems guaranteed to start against the Toffees on Monday evening.
Midfielders

Bryan Mbeumo (£8.2m) delivered for his owners last weekend with a 15-point performance against Brighton & Hove Albion, and the Manchester United player currently ranks as FPL's second-highest scoring midfielder. He's positioned well to produce another strong showing against Nottingham Forest (A), who continue struggling under their third manager this season.
Bruno Fernandes (£8.9m) managed just four points in Man Utd's victory over Brighton but remained central to everything positive for the Red Devils. Returns will arrive for the Portugal captain, who has already gathered 40 points, and he consistently provides bonus and defensive contribution points.
Arsenal may not score prolifically—they don't need to given their defensive strength—but Declan Rice (£6.7m) and Bukayo Saka (£10.0m) represent their primary attacking threats heading into the Burnley encounter. Both appeared only as substitutes midweek, with Saka finding the net upon entering.
Brighton generated numerous opportunities at Old Trafford last weekend and merit targeting in Gameweek 10 against Leeds United (H). From a midfield standpoint, Yankuba Minteh (£6.0m) emerges as the top choice having recorded one goal and two assists in league play.
Following his midweek double against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, Palace's Ismaïla Sarr (£6.5m) demands attention. He's netted three goals and provided one assist in just seven league appearances this season, with Brentford likely worried about the Senegal international's threat this weekend.
Forwards

Little additional commentary is needed regarding Erling Haaland (£14.8m), who failed to score for only the second time this season against Aston Villa last weekend. He meets Bournemouth (H) this Sunday and was rested midweek in cup competition.
For similar reasons as his Palace colleagues, Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.7m) represents an excellent selection this weekend having netted three times in his most recent Selhurst Park Premier League appearance. He participated in only one half of the midweek victory over Liverpool, ensuring he should be relatively fresh.
Liverpool might be best avoided currently given their poor form, but Hugo Ekitiké (£8.6m) could prove worthwhile as a differential pick. The Frenchman, who has scored six times for the Reds this campaign, was rested on Wednesday night and will be eager to perform against Aston Villa (H) on Saturday.
Nick Woltemade (£7.5m) maintained his impressive scoring streak in the cup against Tottenham, bringing his total to six goals in 11 appearances for the Magpies. He's achieved six or more points in four matches this season and could secure another return against West Ham in the capital.
Similar to Minteh, Brighton's Danny Welbeck (£6.4m) presents a reliable choice this week. He's found the net five times this season and three times in his last two league outings, including an outstanding free kick at Old Trafford last weekend.
