Garnacho Rejects Europe's Elite Powers as Contract Negotiations Heat Up With His Dream Destination

Manchester United's winger Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly rejected an offer from Bayern Munich, as he remains determined to secure a transfer to Chelsea.
Garnacho's future at Old Trafford appeared to reach an abrupt conclusion at the end of the previous campaign, following an angry reaction to being benched for the Europa League final.
The Argentine player has been connected with clubs like Al Nassr and Napoli in recent months, but all roads seem to lead back to Chelsea—who demonstrated genuine interest during the January window.
Garnacho's preference for joining Chelsea above all other options has been widely reported in recent weeks, with Fabrizio Romano confirming on Tuesday that advancement is occurring in "club to club discussions". The "strong bond" between United's chief executive Omar Berrada and Chelsea could prove beneficial.

Bayern Munich's interest is said to have emerged "within the past 48 hours", dismissed by Garnacho as he continues to "exclusively desire" Chelsea.
The current German titleholders transferred Kingsley Coman to Al Nassr recently, having previously lost Leroy Sané as a free agent during the summer. To date, only Luis Díaz has been brought in for a wide role.
Garnacho was the crown jewel of United's youth system when he led an FA Youth Cup victory in 2022, the club's inaugural triumph in the esteemed tournament for 11 years. He earned his senior debut at age 17 and was quickly elevated to the main roster permanently, going on to accumulate 142 matches across merely three campaigns. The Madrid-native scored during the 2024 FA Cup final and also claimed that year's FIFA Puskás Award for a spectacular bicycle kick versus Everton.
However, erratic performances and the absence of a fitting role within Ruben Amorim's 3-4-2-1 formation have contributed to establishing the present circumstances where a departure seems likely.
