Guardiola Delivers Blunt Two-Word Bombshell About Haaland's Injury Status
Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City boss, has confirmed that Erling Haaland will be fit for Saturday's clash against Burnley.
Following his substitution near the conclusion of last weekend's 1-1 stalemate with Arsenal, reports surfaced that Haaland had experienced back discomfort, which ruled him out of the midweek triumph over Huddersfield Town.
It seems Haaland's spell on the sidelines won't continue, as Guardiola expressed confidence that the Norwegian striker will be available for Saturday's fixture.
"He's ready," Guardiola stated.
"Perhaps," was the response regarding midfielder Mateo Kovačić, who hasn't featured this campaign following an Achilles problem sustained in May. "Having Kova back would be tremendously beneficial. It's been a lengthy injury requiring surgery, but he's progressing well. He's not completely ready yet, but we're taking it gradually."
Guardiola Anticipates Kyle Walker Homecoming

Saturday will witness the homecoming of former City skipper Kyle Walker to the Etihad Stadium. Walker lost his place in the squad last term and moved to AC Milan on loan, before completing a permanent transfer to promoted side Burnley this summer.
Walker will be hoping for a more positive return than Kevin De Bruyne experienced, who was withdrawn in the opening period of Napoli's loss to City following an early dismissal.
"I'm certain everyone will be delighted to see him return," Guardiola commented.
"Players of his caliber have been extraordinary for us. The full-back who epitomized our era here over the past nine to ten years. I'm confident he'll receive recognition from our supporters because he's earned it."
