Jadon Sancho Engages in Promising Discussions About Manchester United Departure

Reports suggest that discussions between Jadon Sancho and Juventus have been characterized as "encouraging" regarding Manchester United's efforts to transfer the winger.
After completing his loan spell at Chelsea, who paid a £5 million ($6.8 million) penalty to withdraw from their obligation to purchase Sancho permanently due to disagreements over personal terms, the 25-year-old continues to be available for transfer.
Both Napoli and Juventus have shown interest, with Juventus appearing especially eager. The Italian club is engaged in direct discussions with Sancho and his agents to reach a contractual agreement, with Sky Sports News reporting these negotiations as "encouraging".
Sancho appears willing to make the move to Serie A, where Juventus requires a new winger following their unsuccessful attempt to persuade Porto to part with Francisco Conceição.
Manchester United's intention to sell Sancho is well-known, making salary negotiations the primary focus for Juventus. His wage expectations have reportedly created difficulties for interested clubs.

Sancho isn't the only loan returnee that United wishes to sell. Marcus Rashford is also on the market after his stint at Aston Villa—with Bayern Munich recently joining Barcelona in pursuing the England striker—while Real Betis are in talks to bring back Antony.
"We're in discussions with the player because joining Betis means accepting a substantial salary reduction, as we must maintain our financial responsibility and avoid breaking it," Betis president Ángel Haro explained to COPE regarding negotiations with Man Utd for Antony.
"He's an exceptional player who has contributed greatly over the past six months, but we need to ensure everything aligns properly; we cannot act recklessly. We're pursuing this avenue because it's challenging.
"We're quite creative in our approach to these types of deals, but it's complicated. It involves the player, who has affection for Betis, but he must also consider his personal interests." He continued: "We'll need to see if he joins us; he's no longer with us currently. We're working toward this goal; it won't be simple. Manchester invested heavily, and he still has two years remaining on his deal."
